Turkey Ratified the Trade Facilitation Agreement, 1.04.2016
Turkey became the 71st WTO Member to ratify the Trade Facilitation Agreement. Turkey completed domestic legal procedures on the 5th of March, 2016 and presented her instrument of acceptance to WTO Deputy Director-General Yi Xiaozhun on 16 March.
The TFA will enter into force once two-thirds of the WTO membership formally accepts the Agreement.
